*Spoilers* Screams at end of game?

Hey i just finished the game one more time, had my headphones turned up very loud this time. during the speech by the gman at the end of the game, u know how u can free-look during the first half, but the second half u cant, just like the intro to the game. Well it was when that kicked in that i heard a man screaming. has there been any news or theories on this?

Yeah, I hear this distant rumbeling too when I turn my base up to max. You can hear it even when I turn off my computer.

Yes there are human people talking in the Citadel.
I found hidden messages in the ambient sound files.
I went into GCFScape, and went under:

hl2/sound/ambient/levels/citadel/citadel_ambient_scream_loop1.wav

Hearing it at first unchanged, it is just gibberish, however, when I reversed it in GoldWave, the screams sounded more normal. At the end, I heard some normal voices talking. If anyone else looks at it, could they find out what the people are saying?
