The forum is pretty inactive these days, just like the DoD:S forum, but in my opinion there's no real harm in having it around still.

It's good, but it gets old really fast.. I mean, like zap!

It's a good way to make the characters of HL2 get boring to you.. I rarely play it for that same reason.

I was never too fond of classless multiplayer as there really isn't a role that you adept to, but I have played many a hour on the good old death-match. I played this equally as much as I did with counter-strike, but as there isn't much variety, constant updates, etc most of my time is spent playing TF2.

If they updated with a similar game-mode to Unreal's coop Invasion, then I might consider going back to it.
