Use this thread to tell me what you guys think of it when you get it! It was released today, wasn't it?

umm, a few more days i think . .

my brother has preordered it, so i'll post some screens when it's released here.

played the demo

was rather mediocre as expected

Ahhh I thought it was released on the 15th. Thats what gamespot says.

Will be interesting to at least have a look at, I think Frank Klepacki made the music for this one. (please confirm?)

yeah i had high expectations
and i was inevitably disappointed
mediocre.

I played the demo and found it to be a miserable piece of trash. I wouldn't play this game if it was free.

Yeah, the demo left me a little disappointed, but I will still get this when it hits 19.99. :)

It's out in holland today, so it must be out in the US or UK.

IGN has a review online - I think it was 7.6 - good but not "very" good

my brother just brought it home and i installed it, but when i try to start it says:

A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed.
guess i'll reinstall it.

Well I guess it's good they released a patch this early to fix that problem...

But then again, it shouldn't have been rushed to require one.

hah, as soon as i get into the game, i'm greeted by artifacts and a message telling me there is an update.

i'm capped so downloading this and new drivers is taking a long time. :x

Publishers set the release dates. Developers don't have a choice. Hence, as soon as the game goes gold, they start working on the stuff they didn't get a chance to finish. It's either that or face major financial penalties for not shipping on time.

Happens all the time with EA games, remember the train wreck that was Black and White 2?

PCGAMER UK thought it deserved a 79%. I played the demo and supported that mark

when i run it, the graphics are all 'weird' (strange artifact-ish looking) but if i go and change the res, even if it's back to the original one, it's fine.

is there a fix for this, it's annoying to do each time i or someone else starts it or is it a driver related problem ?
