When are they going to announce new packages available via Steam?

All I've seen so far is news about the Orange Box via retail and Steam. I want my Black Box back :|

Any news on being able to get that bundle?

I don't think the black box is happening anymore. I think its orange box, or buy the games individually.

Black Box probably won't happen anymore. The inclusion of Black Box elements into other packages (EP2/Portal in Half-Life only bundles, TF2 in a Multiplayer package) will almost certainly happen, though it won't happen before release or even too early after it. Probably around the time that the Orange Box itself disappears.

Yeah, I knew "Black Box" isn't happening anymore, but wondered if the "Black Box configuration" (IE 3 games, 1 packages) could :|

I'm not a mean person or anything, but I just don't feel like giving out 2 games to a friend for free out of a random act of kindness. Plus, most of the friends I have either don't have a computer that could keep up with HL2, not interested in gaming or Half-Life, have consoles, or already own it.

Gabe has said it's Orange Box "configuration" only, due to some marketing hitches (please don't make me look for the you tube video). Looks like if you just want the old Black Box package, you're gonna have to shell out buying the individual games on Steam...Although as others have said, why don't you just buy the Orange Box and accept you're getting two free games instead?
