Er, but, where do you get this "'promised' June 1st" figure from? They're targeting a summer release, summer doesn't mean June 1st specifically

God... they keep getting dumber and dumber, their IQ is currently even negative... :|

1: HL2 has been delayed ONCE
2: June 1st was never a date
3: Neither was april for that matter
4: Delays are there for a damn reason, they're not Valves way of humor. If it's delayed it means there was something wrong with it, and you should be f*cking grateful for them not releasing a crappy product.
5: Games get delayed sometimes, more like always, get over it.

If Steam successfully handles the CS:CZ release then you can probably expect HL2 within a few months thereafter. I feel the game, by and large, is complete and that Steam is the last major hurdle Valve needs to overcome. However, if the Steam distribution of CS:CZ goes awry then my 'few months' prediction is right out the window.

Can we please stop this? This is pointless, everybody knows about the delay and feels the same way you do. VALVe will release Half-Life 2 when they think it is ready. When it is released, it will destroy every other game. Be patient and it'll be worth it.
