Strange Corpse on Freeman Pointifex

On the level Freeman Pointifex, when you get to the part after the toxic waste where there's a crate for SMG Rockets, get some rockets and aim at where Alyx is with the Combine Sniper Rifle. If you shoot the rocket and hit close enough to where she is, you'll hear the sound of a Combine Soldier kinda grunting and then you'll see a flaming Combine body fall out of the spot. As far as I know, there are no corpses up there of Combine Soldiers, so I dunno. Just thought it was kinda funny. Anybody got any ideas?

Yes. "Sniper Alyx" is actually a Combine Sniper with it's coding making it attack zombies but not Freeman(you). However, the SMG nade kills "Alyx/Sniper", seeing as how it is actually an enemy. Thus, Alyx never actually mans the gun.
