I have dispensed of the 2 gunships but cannot figure out what now. I have tried to jump across to the bridgewings? but can't seem to make it that far.

Any help?

Shoot at the core, metal plates pop up, shoot the metal plates, shoot the core again, see what happens...

Also you have to hit it from the side, otherwise a big bit of metal framework blocks your shots.
