Stuck at Water center, any ideas?

Hi there... I took the hydro thing and have reached the base where they close the doors just before one can get through. The helicopter is being a pain and I'm stuck in the building with the open containers.

There are also 4 containers in the way, so I can't proceed... I can see a roof rail, indicating there is a way up there, but all doors in the building are locked... and I've been rocking to and fro each end of the house for a few hours without success at finding a way onwards.

Any ideas?

BTW. I am totally in LOVE with that girl who was in a concrete pipe along the way... and said: There is a way through. - I had to TEAR myself away from her... but I could have looked at her for HOURS... and never got tired... Maybe I should just make my way back there? hehe... At least I was HAPPY there! - and don't say "I saw her first!" - She likes ME, cos she looked at ME THAT way! - You know the way! ;-)

OK! Got it!

I hadn't realised one has to make one's way to the tower on the far side, to open the water gate... and get rid of the chopper! - Did anyone manage to destroy the helicopter? - Not me, but I did drive it away!

I don't think it's possible to destroy the heli at that part, just damage it and it flies away.

Actually, after bout 10 mins of fighting, I destroyed the thing. It sorta came down like the gunship would of, leaving a reck where it landed.
