STUCK: Black Matter

Hey... I'm stuck at the top to the black matter reactor/teleporter. I've destroyed the two gunships and now need to stop the evil dude from getting away.... um...how? I thought it had something to do with the two gates on either side, but I can't figure it out...help!

destroy the "metal shield" things revolving around the teleportation device. Use the the energy balls and keep shooting at it until all the shields are down, then shoot one more to destroy the portal.

There should be several metal shields swirling around the top of the portal. Shoot them away using the energy orbs, and then shoot an orb into the white stuff you've just uncovered.

Wow... 1st off let me say wicked response time

next , Griever... awesome idea with the spoiler thingy... it's like those old hint books Sierra used to make that you need a special pen to see or the ones with the red visor...
