Stuck in airboat level...

I'm stuck on the bit where you come around a corner into an enclosed space with 2 armored vehicles on boardings above. There is a sunken ship in the middle of the enclosed space. I destroyed the vehicles and managed to get my airboat over the fence so I could hit the ramp into the tunnel (the tunnel contains goo). No matter how I try, I cannot get the airboat over the ramp onto the other side.

Anyone? (err, sorry no screenshot).

I don't know how it is possible for you NOT to make it across. Just go all the way back and take a running start at it. The toughest time I had at that part was trying to find the way into the fence to get to the ramp.

Go back down the little alley-thing until you reach the shipping container. Shoot the barrels inside to blow the door off. This should let you get across the jump.
I don't think Valve meant for you to get in there any other way, so the barrels are a trigger.

Ahhh ok. It seems ingame as if I'm hitting an invisible wall, so maybe I need to hit the trigger to remove the wall (game engines huh!).
