stuck in beginning

hi, i`m stuck in the beginning after you jump out of the window to the alley below. the door is cracked but i can`t go any furter. can someone help? Thanks

seems that is a common problem- must be a lack of explanation on Valve's part if so many people are getting stuck there

Yeh, possibly needs a "Press e to open doors" kinda hint there.

Yeah, being a HL veteran, I had the same embaressing problem. Then I realised, "What would Duke Nukem do?" so I pressed the use key to open the door, and it worked. The reason being because when you do use the door, you trigger the handle and the full animation.

well, he would start to turn the handle. then, he would take 7 years to get it finished, which would be coincidental, as the intended title for the finished handle-turn would be "Duke Nukem (turning the handle): Forever".
