stuck in water hazzard before black mesa east

I am stuck in the water hazzard just before black mesa east. There is a ramp to the left that comes from under the docks and one to the right that leads into a pipe. There is a wrecked boat in a pool. There are 2 rocket vehicles firing at me. The only way to jump the ramp is to get behind the dock poles but I don't see an opening. If I leave the boat and walk I can get into the pipe. I follow it and it loads a new level and says welcome to black mesa east. Am I supposed to leave the airboat at this pipe.

Hi All, Can you help? I'm at the Water Hazard stage, I shot down the 1st helicopter gunship using the Machine guns in the room overlooking gate 5, I then opened the gate using the contol panel. my problem is when I approach the 2 boats at the end of the canal, I'm attacked by another helo with no suitable weapons to shoot it down, any ideas please.

Go Back to tower

Once you see the second helicopter go back to the tower and shoot it down with same machine guns

You don't really need to shoot the second one down, as long as you're carful you can get past it without getting hurt too much.
