Stuck on "Follow freeman" Please help.

I need to disable three generators with my grav gun on the second floor. The one was no problem. For the second one I went over a little bridge into a room where the walls already had holes. Then I got locked in ... I kill them all, blablabla, I am able to disable the second generator.
Now I'm able to locate the third generator but I'm unable to reach it. There isn't a door or so.

this is where I think,I need to do something to be able to reach the last generator:

Go to the side you're facing, using the stairs (back to the bridge you crossed). You should see a room filled with lasers beams. Make you're way through it to get to the last generator.

it doesn't work with ff. I know where you are, but i spent so long trying to figure out how to complete that level... i've forgotten. but i do remember there is a fun battle on the other side

I am really unable to destroy the third generator.
You reach the first one automatically when you reach the second floor? Right? So, that one is destroyed.
Then both to the left and the righ there is a bridge.

I went left first and then a door opened, and one of my guys said to continue and thet he would wait here. If I continue and pass some little stairs I reach the original "right" generator. The wall has some holes in it: http://www.punkunited.com/half1.jpg and when I enter the room, I get locked in. Then they laser through the door twice, I kill them all, get rid of two turrets and then I'm able to to destroy the socond generator.

So, now there's one generator to go.
I return to where I came from, those little stairs on which you have a visual on the last generator: http://www.punkunited.com/half.jpg
And this is where I get stuck, I have a visual on the last generator, but I cannot find a path to reach it.

Please help me!!!!!!!!!

Curious... perhaps you've been the victim of a particularly random series of events. You see, that room is supposed to be open so you can go in. In there are a bunch of laser that if you trip, security starts shooting the hell out of you (and I think you're supposed to die in there). What appears to have happened, is that something has tripped the lasers and someone got stuck/killed in there. I've no idea how you're supposed to open that door once it has shut because, I don't think you're supposed to have to. Never actually seen this happen, but you may have to recall an earlier save - ensure that you go to this generator before the other one, just be a bit safer.

to your Save directory - Something like "C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\half-life 2\hl2\SAVE"

It's a savegame (on "Hard" difficulty mind you, not sure if you can change that if you're not suited to it) from when you're barricaded inside the room which they then burn through. You've still got two Generators to take down, but the entrance to the third shouldn't be locked (I played it only yesterday)
