Stucked in elevator!

Hello, I'm new here and the game is new to me too. Nice game, I like it!

One problem: In the elevator which a woman shows me and which I should use is "dead"! The woman opens it for me, I walk in but nothing happens! She is standing outside the elevator waiting for something?!

What can I do, I want to continue the game! Thanks!
