Suicide by Cinder Block?

I don't own the game yet,(Just ordered off of ebay,missing that it was coming from Asia),But I was just playing the demo. I was playing it the second time through,and was bored.I was at the end of the first level/whatever by the merry go round,and I was putting items on it and spinning it to see how far theyd fly...I placed a cinder block in the center and had the merry go round going pretty fast,and the block flew off,and seemingly collided with my face and killed me.The screen went red and and it started me back where you jump the fence.Anyone else had odd experiences like this?

Nope, i was pretty sure that you souldn't die in the demo.

Eh, that was a pretty blunt way of putting it, but you may be right. Valve has posted a warning on their site about buying the game on e-bay.

Warning: Do Not Purchase Steam Accounts On Ebay

There are a number of people selling Steam Accounts (HL2, Bronze, Silver, Gold) on EBay. DO NOT PURCHASE THEM:

1. It is against our EULA to sell Steam Accounts
2. They are either Stolen accounts or opened with stolen credit cards.
3. The accounts will be closed and we have been informed that PayPal / EBay will *NOT* help since no merchandise physically changed hands.

Whats so hard about ordering from steam? cmon...the cd keys are registered to steam accounts, you can only take them off for a fee of $10, which most sellers arnt going to pay. you will get the game and it wont work. Use your head. Buy new ALWAYS. ALWAYS. Good luck with your game...if you ever get to play you will enjoy many of these moments.

I bought it with the disks,But I was told I could get a refund if the information written in sell post was false.MY brother got his off of ebay and it worked,his copy was only 99 cents.I did buy merchandise,not just a key.So I should be able to get a refund.If not,a key is usually easy to obtain.I spent only $7.00 with shipping and handling.

Even if you get the key, if the key has been used before and not 'un-tied' from whoever's account was using the key, then it won't work when you try to register with it. Unless the person who sold it has given you their username/password for their Steam account..

i bought my from gameplay.co.uk and it was dleievered to my door on the 16th i got home typed the key into steam cos i already preloaded and then, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO as the authentification server went tits up ;(
