It was several months back when Munro and several others helped put the SupCom forum (twinned with halflife2.net) online. Subsequently it was taken off a few months later, down to the fact that there were few members, and increasingly repetetive threads.
I believe that someone said that they took it offline and they will re-open it when the time is right (i.e. SupCom fanatic status). There are several windows of oppurtunity, these are:
-The next batch of previews will be edited within the next 1-2 months (PCZONE will have an exclusive in the next issue). These are bound to have some exclusive information on the game mechanics and mod details, etc.
-Although Chris Taylor or GPG won't be attending Dice or GDC2006, there is a slim chance they will be attending E3 this year. Although GPG is not listed, their publisher, THQ, have three exhibitons listed, all in the South Hall of the conference center (If that means anything). The game was apparently pulled back to Q4 2006-Q1 2007, so maybe this could be a good time to show off their game. You can see the full E3 list here
-There are several conferences and global events after E3, this would also be a good time to see the game in action.
It all comes down to public opinion I suppose, so I decided to post a poll along with this thread, choose wisely....
