I need some help.
I have uploaded my map to my web space and it will download if you put the link in the browser but you cant view the dir in the browser.
from what I've read Your webserver has to be setup to read and allow file types such as .bsp and .wad (and sound files and other files the map needs)
I use wideopenwest I cant get the webserver setup to read and allow file types such as .bsp
Can anyone please help me out here please I've been going at it for 3 days now.

If you can use your browser to download the maps you should be fine.

In sv_downloadurl if your address is www.mysite.com/maps then you still need a maps folder in the maps directory.

Remember, steam looks for a maps folder before it looks for the maps.
