I've been searching for it but I can't find that damn site that claims the Combine are the synths and the Black Mesa Incident happened 5 years and 10 days before it actually could have and I need a link to it.

That's the stupid thing. Hey, he changes his date for the RC, but it's still 10 days before it could have possiblt happened.

Samon's a staff member, so he can now lock all threads that disagree with me. Which is kinda awesome.

Conclusion? Combine weren't on Xen. Or you're all banned!

When the hell did Samon become a staff member? I don't remember that.

General Samon joining the Inner Party is classified information, civillian.

Or so he says.

It'd be funnier if it wasn't for real

The Combine were not on Xen. General Samon speaks the truth. Shut up civilians.

I'll defend Lawyer to the very end. Kind of, ironic, actually... :p

But yeah, I'm pretty certain (for several reasons) that the Combine were not on Xen. But of course, there are arguments against it and both sides weigh up pretty equally when it comes to for and against...but I'm leaning towards Combine not on Xen.

Xen had local teleporters ;)

Also, Xen might not have been on the same universe as the combine.

Well, Xen is a border world (Not actually in a single place) and is passage through to other places, its logical the Combine would want this, but it in no way means they were on it.

Ah, I see what you mean. I agree with you completley. No sarcasm.

Good. The more people on the Combine not on xen wagon the better.

btw, is there a list of reasons why the combine were not on xen? I want to see it.

Everything we know about Xen already defies the physics of every other Half-Life place we've been. The Teleporters didn't have to have a single thing to do with the combine: they seem a natural phenomenon for a world of floating islands. Also, Xen is a weird, weird place. The few teleporters that were actually machines (and the rest are of the kind the Nihlianth spawns), took you to a place you can't actually prove is "local" relative to the place you left. The appearance of teleporters on Xen may well have nothing to do with any Combine presence whatsoever, neither proof nor dis-proof.

Thats true, but surely if the Combine were on Xen they'd have adapted to this technology. Its the local teleportation the Combine want, but as you say...whether its local teleportation in Xen remains to be seen.

Should we set up a poll to see how many people are now on the Lawyer side?
