The advisors sound like.......

Human.I noticed this in Half life 2.After breen blasts his office he goes down the elvator.You follow and after alyx says hey there he is" the advisor will say."Alright danmit whatever it takes just hurry he's right behind you".Then Breen says "oh shit"

They likely use telepathy amoung each other and Breen, but they seem to make a clicking noise, perhaps similar to our humming.

The advisors will probly sound like the announcer guys from scary movies!

Yeah... gordon will walk into another advisr room, one will pop out and be face to face with him, and it'll say

"Coming this summer! Prepare to shit yourself in terror! The entire combine force is coming to earth! Will gordon freeman be able to save earth then? MOST LIKELY NOT!"

And then it does it's attack thing, and flies... Yeah...

That's what I think.

My guess is that the Advisors use telepathy with the voice of Breen, since he's the human with the closest relationship to them.

That could also explain why they wanted Breen's voice for Ep2.
