How old are gordan freeman and alyx in the hl2, is it officially known?

Just wondering if they are close enough to have some sort of intimate relationship, (personally i think it would be a bad idea to do that). Just hoping it's too large of a age gap for anything to happen between the two.

Gordon Freeman was 27 in the original Half-Life. Half-Life 2 takes place ten years after Half-Life so he's 37.

Whether he's aged in those ten years is debatable, but some people will already know the answer to that. But hopefully they won't post any leaked information.

Gordon should be 37 years old if HL2 takes place 10 years after Black Mesa. But his body might have been frozen or packaged or deep fried or something. Maybe he didn't age. I don't think that Alyx and Freeman are going to get it on. I mean, do you guys even see a zipper on the HEV suit?

Actually...that brings up a whole new batch of questions........

I would suspoect at any rate gordon is perhaps ten years older than alyx give or take a few years. Why? Because women always dig the older guys =)

If we speculate a bit, then in the Eli's Lab movie from E3 2004, Eli says "Let me take a look at you man, you haven't changed one iota, how'd you do it?".

He also likes to stare at Alyx, as seen in one of the hl2 movies. Who wouldn't stare at her. I believe she kinda likes it too, replying in a flirty kind of way. I just don't hope HL2 turns out to be a romantic-drama-"I am a knight, I will kill the dragon and give you a Black-Mesa-Scientist kiss you'll never forget"-game.

Gordons got no time for women, he gets more enjoyment out of setting off resonance cascades in his face for the sheer thrill. Then going off to fight some mutated or alien stuff with big guns.

Correction: Gordon was staring at alyx's shirt with the black mesa logo on. He was thinking back to the time he was once again ripping limps off little aliens and dissolving them with leathal science stuff no one understands but him and his black mesa chums.
