Lame trailer that looks like it was made by some kid in Flash. Pathetic desktop images knocked up on somebodys laptop during a long bus ride to church. No word about who's in it. Nothing about how such a dull concept could translate into an 'epic' movie. No screenies.

With a quote like "New Beast-related documentary project seeks motivated individuals interested in taking action against religious extremism" on the site some people might get the crazy idea that there is no movie at all and the site owner, through the site's forum, is trying to recruit and deliberately incite prejudice towards certain religious groups.

call me cynical.

Slated for release in 2006. Generally when a film is more than a year away not much is known about it, shooting is probably in the process or not even started.

hahaha, that plays non-stop on the sci-fi channel, seriously, i skimn past it and there it is, giant octopus, is that all that is ever on that channel?

Well, I saw it some years ago and since then it wasn't on TV here anymore but I know I liked it very much... probably because I love giant squids, they're so creepy!
