The best gun poses ever

I didn't find it disgusting, I didn't find it funny, it just made me unhappy. Really, really unhappy.

No kidding, when I started looking through those pictures I just thought, "Holy shit, this isn't funny, this is real shit and people this young are dying. This is not how humanity should be."

Anyone who laughs at how "stupid" they look or act, is incredibly stupid himself. You try being out there. Laugh then.

Humor with moral limits is the act of laughing after everyone else laughs. What a pathetic way of leading and leaving a life...
I am not sure why everyone else is telling everyone what is moral and what is not, what is allowed to be laughed at and what is not. But I am pretty sure I live in a country of FREE SPEECH at the moment. You know the drill, if you want to be moral- ignore this thread.
This is the internet, and more specifically a website where you do not have free speech. It is also not a democracy.

if you can;t understand something from all sides then how are you ever truly going to know what it is?

it sounded good at the time, don;t you think?

Can you really expect men (children) with absolutley no training to be able to handle a weapon properly?
However i have seen some "trained" american soldiers doing simmilar things to those pictures.

I have no real training and i handle weapons fine. In fact, in reply to all of you asking "what if you were there?!" If i was dropped there with a scoped bolt action rifle and a few thousand rounds of ammo. Id be able to take em all out before they even figured out where i was :|

And years of playing video games and watching movies with guns make no difference at all. Right?

Seriously. These people don't have those things.

a guy is wearing a life preserver in the middle of combat on the land, far from any water... if that's not funny, i don;t know what is

Do you have google earth?
Heck, do you have google?
S**t, do you have a connection to teh mity intarnet?
Do you have _any_ form of knowledge base available to you?
Did it occur to you, even once, that there might be a body of water of some sort not far from that person?
Like, say, the atlantic ocean?
Or a river?
Like, say, St. Paul?

I mean, I don't expect people to know everything there is to know about things like geografy, (I had to google for some of this info (the river) myself), but I do get annoyed when people make arrogant assumptions based on their ignorance and little else.

.bog.

I suppose what i meant was if i was a couple hundred yards away.
That might be true, but these people didn't play video games and watch violent movies like you have, to learn how to operate a weapon properly and such. (This is the second time I've said this)

GAR! I'm sensitive to the plight of the people in these pictures! I hate this thread and want it to die! I will therefore continue to post in it just to make sure everyone knows how much I care about the civil war in Libya!

He doesn't need to, Muffin Man's opinion is just plain ignorant, where as if you talked to any WW2 vet you'd see that Werner is right.

Which is something I've had the opportunity to do... someone who landed in the second wave (RIGHT after the first, a minute or so later I believe) on Omaha Beach, then spent six days moving up through france fighting town to town, hedgerow to hedgerow, before being captured by the Germans and spending the rest of the war being shuttled around to several prison camps.

Yeah I remember you telling me about that, crazy stuff.

I wish I had the balls to ask my grandpa about his time in the war, but I'm too afraid of what his reaction might be. :(

He's talked about it before though. He was in the Battle of the Bulge. If you know anything about WW2 you know that it was a brutally cold battle. Absolutely terrible stuff. He cried while reading a recent article in the paper about it.

He also has a collection of things from the war. A Nazi flag that he ripped from a post in some village, was pretty interesting.

well think of those boys who never made it to the beach. all that training only to be cut down before they even see combat...bet Muffin man would have bunny hopped his way onto the beach

Assuming he wasn't chewed in half by machinegun fire before he could leave the damn landing craft.

I dont think hed even make it through recruitment let alone have the maturity to hold a weapon

Werner

I never got to talk to any of my granparents or uncles who were in the 2 world wars.
Would have been quite interesting, my grandad served in north africa and was on the beaches during D-day.
My other grandad was in both world wars.
2 uncles were in the royal marines, another in the RAF.

he'd duck, bob and weave his way to victory

The current conversation going on scares me... I shall avoid it.

The only thing even remotely funny was the spring popped out of the one guy's clip. It probably got him royally ****ed, though.

If anything, at all, I wanna go down there and show them what the stand on the front of the gun is for. Then wish them luck, run back home.

Is it wrong that I laughed at each and every one of those pictures regardless of the fact they are real

I do hope at least a few of you know i wasnt serious. It was a joke guys...seriously...look at the way there shooting....

P.S. all the shit about me not being able to handle/operate weapons, i've shot many guns before and i own some too.
