I have a question because the Colelctors Edition

1.What is in it?

2.When came it and when in Germany?

3.Give it the Package with choosable Frontpage? I mean Alyx, Gordon, Mr. G

1. Full version of Half Life 2 + miscellaneous collectors crap. Pewter figurines and so on.

2. None of us have any idea whatsoever. Probably on the same day worldwide, whenever that is.

3. Probably. Don't know really.

Some have said its going to be in a leather case (so probably imitation plastic) others mention t-shirts, posters, pens, behind the scenes book. probably some 10% off offer for an ATI card. plus all the editing stuff required as per the standard edition. Maybe a months free trial of Steam's pay service thing.. though I imagine that'll be in all of them to try hook people into that way of playing. Maybe HL1 in Source enabled form with all the extra's and improvements.. That'll also probably become available on its own later on at some time aswell if thats the case

Nobody really knows. As for when its released in Germany, its not out in the rest of the world yet, and nobody knows the release date.

I haven't found a retailer from which it can be pre-ordered yet, so I suppose Valve are going to wait a few months after the main release before they release the Collector's Edition. I wonder if Steam subscribers will be able to download the extra features? (the game related ones at least).

it's going to be a metal box, no one knows whats going to be included, no one knows when it will be out, and considering it will e a metal box, you probably have no choice of the cover, since its just metal....

then buy the normal version, it will have multiple covers to choose from, and it's cheaper than the limited/collectors edition.
