Well, heard them this week and just want to know what you all think of them. Love them? Hate them? Please provide some quality criticism so I can use it in my conversation to those I introduce The Dresden Dolls to.

Thanks for your input.
Peace out.

I've heard 'Half Jack' and 'Good Day' and whatever those songs were that they made videos for. I think they are quite good, interesting style, sometimes a bit chaotic, but yeah why not?

****ing ace band!
They are supporting Nine Inch Nails this summer but not for the concert im going to :dozey:
I love Good Day, Girl Anachronism, Half Jack, Coin Operated Boy, A Perfect Fit. All of them! :afro:

EDIT: oh, quality chritism
Well theyre infulenced a lot by pre-war german music hall, most noticably in Coin Operated Boy and Hlaf Jack.
There are just two members, the drummer and the pianist and vocalist.
They have a few fast songs but most of them from the album are very slow and sad, and sometimes you feel it would be nice to have a few more energetic, fast songs.
Though I love the sound of Keane, anouther piano and drums band, there style of piano rock kept a bit mormentum up through their album and the simple style never got boring. However sometimes after forty minutes of piano you feel like something a bit different, though i still i wouldnt want the style of DD to change.

I remember hearing them for the first time on a local TV show.. the intensity and fierceness of their songs were mind blowing. Great band.
