this guy's the best thing since sliced bread

It's all fairly true, (except I have yet to see a PC alone game that has been anything spectacular), yet this is still one of the best games I've played, so it's obviously doing something right for me.

****ing awesome.

Loved the "middleground" bit. Baby-eating Mother Teresa is just nothing short of brilliant :D

Idunno, for my own part, I loved Bioshock. But I don't feel that it's a be-all-end-all experience in gaming as much as it's a lesson in game design. It's a shining beacon for all other developers to adhere to - that plot, atmosphere and engaging characters do, infact, make for a better game. And I really, really hope that it sells well enough for others to sit up and take notice, even though it may have been "dumbed down" a bit. Fact is it's not too much worse off for lack of the things he mentions (although an inventory would've been handy, anyone else never know how many hack tools to buy at a u-invent?), and that it might reach a broader audience to appreciate it can hopefully only further intelligent gaming, perhaps to a point where they can start including these features again without fear of losing the Halo dollar (console tards, lol).

And now I really want to go back and try and see if I'm man enough to play System Shock 2 yet D:

amish, where you been?

that was great, love the hacking/plumming bit and the camera hacking in mid-air while the enemies wait :p

I was without tv or internet for about 3 weeks waiting for it to get hooked up in my new apartment. It feels good to be plugged back in :)

Well this is a college town and EVERYBODY and their mother wants the cable company to come hook them up when school starts. I'm just glad we got the appointment when we did. 2 days later I asked them if there was any way I could get an earlier installation time and they said they were already booked through the the next 5 weeks (when I had to wait 3 at the time).

Well... it's already getting enough hits to make it slow enough to be unwatchable, so... >_>

Yeah, the site is so damn slow I decided to put the youtube link up so people could actually watch it :)

This guy manages to nail the perfect balance between cynicism and wit. Funny stuff.
