The Incident - A must read.

Yeah, that site does a great job of putting everything together.

I'd be judicious while reading it though, since a lot of the unexplained things from the games have been fan-fictionalized. Like the G-man's role, and how the physics of the dimensional breach work.

YEa, they said gonarch are evolved from headcrabs, i still won't believe this, otherwise Good site man!

Wow, this is an awesome site. It even has some of the things I was going to place on the site I'm making (the Xenobiology site). Very nicely done...

Haven't got a chance to read, "The Incident" yet, but I'll check it out soon. Lots of info here. Good find, Dux.

All of a sudden I'm even more eager to see what Half-Life 2's storyline is gonna be. I had forgotten about a few things from the first one before reading The Incident.

It is.

look at the floor when you kill the thing.

That made for a good read

Don't see much wrong with his sig, apart from using the code tag to make it seem bigger without going over the 4 lines limit, which is annoying.

That was interesting. Good to ctach up on the events. It does suggest that the G-man was the administrator tho, and I thought that was dispelled as untrue. Did I imagine that?

No, I'm pretty sure that VALVe have indicated that the Administrator and the G-Man are two separate people.

I've been to that site before. It's a good writeup. Seems to end rather suddenly, though. Maybe it's just my darn connection...

"The dimensional rift also caused prototype Displacer personal teleportation devices to open"... up? Out? For sale? Trading? :E

Anyone else able to read any further than that?

The G-Man is not the Administrator, the bloke who wrote this webpage has acknowledged that certain information he has written about him is incorrect. I.E him being the Administrator, so best ignore that peice of the webpage :)

An additional point: on my website I talk about the G-Man being Black Mesa's administrator. Turns out I was wrong about that (not just me, lots of people thought it too), because in an interview with Gamespy Marc Laidlaw said that in Half-Life 2 you'd get to meet Black Mesa's administrator, and in the pictures that went along with the interview the caption underneath the g-man's picture said "The mysterious G-Man. Contrary to popular belief, not actually Black Mesa's administrator."

And I've had my Signature as it is for quite some time now without any problmes, if any of the mod's feel it's to large due to the code tag it uses, give me a poke and I'll change it.

Wow, this is like somethign I'mw orking on - namely a factual account of the incedent written like it's actually a book in the world of HL2. What's strange though is that I put the date down as May 12th - coincedence? Or is there some part of the human mind that thinks 'May'? Great read anyway.
