So I think we should have one along with rate your last track for a gig, since Im sure a lot of people go to gigs regularly on here.

I will start.

Radiohead - Manchester, Old Trafford Cricket Grounds.

100x better than I thought it would be, played pretty much everyone of my favourite songs and many classics, like Just, Airbag, Paranoid Android and even Pyramid Song, finishing on Lucky.

Once in a lifetime gig, but would have been 100% perfect had they included at least either Street Spirit, How to Dissapear Completely, or Creep, but unluckily none were sang. But still, amazing to witness.

I'm gonna guess you mean ones we were at, so here.

Jackyl in St. Louis- Pretty much what I expected, was a little less than awesome, but then again the lead singer was hoarse from the night before, so he wasn't feeling too well. Props to them for coming out and playing a kickass show though.

Led Zeppelin - O2, London.

I'm not joking. If you're a fan of Led Zeppelin, you would know they played in December '07 at the O2 in London.

It was an amazing concert. They played all of their best songs, like Kashmir and Dazed and Confused. They also ended with Rock and Roll, which was great. Definitely one in a lifetime. We got great seats since my dad mixed John Paul's solo record :D
 
Been a bit dry around these parts, not been much on sadly. I got Supersonic to look forward to, though, in Birmingham. Red Sparowes, Oxbow, Battles, Harvey Milk... man, fock yeah.

****ing incredible, I can't believe they came out for a third encore and played that fantastic performance of Lucky

Possibly the perfect setlist, the only other songs I was looking forward to them playing (that they have been playing on this tour, not random ones like creep lol) are telex and exit music

Were MGMT any good? I completely missed them (just managed to listen to "time to pretend" while i was stood outside, the only song I was particularly interested in really, would've liked to have seen them though)

Bat for lashes was pretty awesome though

Was the last gig i've been to in a while, right in the first week of exams :( Meh, had to go. Rating? His current status as the worlds best DJ lives up to it's credibility and name. Superb night, superb performance, superb atmosphere.

Incubus - Light Grenades Tour

The only large scale "gig" I have ever witnessed. They only played one song from SCIENCE, which sucked for that matter, very few songs from their make yourself album, mostly stuff from ACLOTM and LG. Was Good though, loved the drum and dj solos.

In small scale, I've seen "Electrico", a rather popular local band play. They make good music.
 
Muse/Offspring/Linkin Park at the Rock in Rio festival. The Offspring really brought the house down, their concert was > amazing <. Same for Muse. Linkin Park was very meh

And f*ck Kashmir, you lucky bastard
 
Queens of the Stone Age, Bristol Carling Academy, December 1st.

Won 2 free tickets for me and a mate from the carling website and got served free carling all night, plus I got to see my favourite band. Naturally, it was fecking incredible! :D Can't wait for Reading now, that's gonna be the highlight of the year for me.
 
The New Pornographers, Spoon in Dallas TX.. late 2007 I believe.

10/10 ... Got to see the New Pornographers perform with Neko Case and Dan Bejar, which is a rarity, and Spoon put on an awesome show even though I don't really care for them that much.

Interesting tidbit - my wife and I completely lost our tickets after we'd driven 3 hours from Shreveport, LA to Dallas, TX (they were with us when we left, we think they might've fallen out of the car when she got out to go to the ATM). Luckily, my wife was able to pull the cry pregnant girl card and the manager at the box office was nice so we were able to get in :D

They were like David Bowie - the second but obviously not as good, they played good chill out music. The second artist, that women, started off really interesting but jesus christ did it get boring quickly, droned on for too long.

And cant believe somehow on here was also at the gig :D

And yeh I do mean gigs you are actually at, V fest is next on the list for me.
 
I'm looking at my gig calender right now and it's really depressing to see that the only events I have planned are festivals - Supersonic, Damnation and All Tomorrows Parties. What the hell happened to good small venue gigs anymore. I miss seeing Municipal Waste in the basement of a pub, man. Still, Torche have been added to the ATP line up which has me VERY hyped, and Taint are playing Damnation. Buzzing. I foresee 10 out of 10's for all three events.

I'm not too bothered about missing Reading now I've got these to look forward to! \o/

I like their older stuff better and would have liked to hear more of it, however they did play Could've Moved Mountains, which was fantastic, and a new song, Metal Bird (the full title is far too long to remember), which was mind blowing.
 
My last gig was Foreigner, Styx and Def Leppard w/ DL headlining, Styx shoulda been the head liner IMO. Going to see CrueFest in a couple of days though!
 
Last gig I've seen was Taste of Chaos, El Paso, TX on 4/6/08. On the bill were a bunch of Japanese metalcore bands (who were surprisingly good), Blessthefall, Bullet For My Valentine (who I was not impressed with), Atreyu (who mixed it up from the constant drone of double bass drums that seemed to ruin my hearing), and headlining and last was Avenged Sevenfold who naturally blew the rest away.

The acoustics in the place were terrible, but that was okay. The crowd was lively too. All in all a great concert except that it could've done without a band or two and it would've been fine with me.

Foo Fighters w/ NiN supporting, Meadowbank, Edinburgh - 10/10

My mates weren't keen on seeing NiN but I was insistent that we get there early to see them kicking off. ****ing great set, mostly Year Zero promotion but a few older tracks in there too.

I was still buzzing during the Foos but they were awesome too. Again, mostly promoting new material. This was like, two summers ago omfg. D:
 
I just wish I could go back to last year so that I could witness Download and Muse at Wembley. Download had the best headliners EVER last year: Iron Maiden, My Chemical Romance and Linkin Park. And to see Muse, My Chem and Biffy Clyro playing Wembley would've been unbelievable. I was absolutely GUTTED that I missed out on them. :(
 
Mudhoney with Birds of Avalon.

Mudhoney was great. Birds of Avalon sucked.

Peter Buck and Mike Mills from REM apparently showed up (they had played a show earlier the same night) which is weird.

MCR would've been alright apart from the fact that gerard way is (and acted like) a prick. Biffy were good, but hardly anyone knew them, so there wasn't much going on. I would've enjoyed the day a lot more if they hadn't had the stupid first come first served inner circle close to the stage and if my camera hadn't got nicked :<
 
Rush in Toronto on Wednesday - IT WAS THE BEST THING I EVER DID IN MY LIFE.

You have no idea how freaking awesome it was. The crowd (and me) sang along to every song, they played 2112, Spirit of Radio, Passage to Bangkok.. They played everything good (well, they don't have any bad stuff anyways..). I can't believe how awesome it was. Seriously, no joke, not over exaggerating, it was honestly the best thing I've ever witnessed and experienced. Ever.

One of the greatest shows I have EVER been to. Reunion after all these years of ATG and the Waste was insane as always--best live band going right now imho.

I mean, I can't really describe it, you know? It was very funny, he's awesome at music, I enjoyed myself immensely. What'm I gonna do, repeat the jokes? Nah. 1 point off for repeating material from older shows.

Pretty damn good, also free. Was at the local college, so me and my friend skipped fourth period (first day of highschool), and went to the orientation day at my local college where he was playing. Pretty sweet.

Holy shit, Tinselworm ONLY just got to you guys? I saw that show last year. :LOL:

It was brilliant. 10/10. But I uhh, don't have any gigs as of late to talk about or rate. Stupid Wolverhampton.
 
New Zealand's usually the last stop for tours. Maybe. Sucks D:
 
Dana and the Dogs- My own sister's blues rock band with her husband as her lead guitarist. They play alot of tributes mostly. (I can't think of any atm, but they were pretty popular bands from the late 70's-80's.) Although they do have a few originals.

This guy is a guitar god though. He can play anything. Likewise, so can the sax player they dubbed "Big Earl".

TBH though, she's not really the greatest vocalist in the world (I wouldn't tell her that though) and the rest of the band overshadows her performance. It was her first gig though, so she probably was a bit nervous.

10/10 for the instrumental solo's alone though.
