The portal gun in gmod?

Well I really don't think so, It take a hell of alot code for Gmod, and I believe this won't happen, and the tech for this is for sell I believe for Dev teams if they want to buy it.

but there an old saying that that go's pretty well for the Source engine and other game engines (eg. doom 3 engine, the fear engine etc)

You could do something similar on Garry's Mod
 
Me and Jinto did it. We'll be releasing it once we finish it..going to make teleporting more instant.

It's not as realistic as the Portals in the video. G-Mod is not that limitless. From a watchers point of view, it doesn't look like the player is actually going THROUGH a portal, but just getting teleported. From the players point of view, it's like you actually stepped through one.

Well it's a start at least.
 
This is Valve.....who knows they could release a SDK for Portal or update the current one with the Portal Gun.
 
I have a idea for the falling thru part of the portals. Would it be posable to create a second model on the other end of the portal that's in the same positon as the first model? (And no colide them with the world) AND could second fire ajust how big the portal is?
