I don't know anyone saw this before, but when I was surfing the GFC-scape, it was the first thing I noticed. Perhaps it's just me, but I think you can see the reflection of the "photographer"...

The last one might make it easier ;)
Please tell me what YOU think :bounce:

Don't know you've noticed the name of the thread :)

It says: "Rumours & Speculations"

I'm speculating :P ,....mate.

I see it. But I probably wouldn't if you hadn't mentioned it.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, one believer

Anyone else?

I don't see you're point- of course you can see a reflection in a dark monitor- you can also see a reflection in any glass with a dark background (like a window at night)
?

hmm, I think I can just make it out. I assume the next thread will be "WHO IS IN THE REFLECTION!?!?! I CAN SEE GABE!!11" :)

Gabes reflection couldnt fit in that monitor i think idt have to be like the size of the monitors in city 17 ROFL

i see what you mean, dunno why there would actually be someones reflection, though

Dunno, something I found during my trip through the HL² files. I immediately thought: What the heck is that, but I guess me and superjuanchango are the only ones.

No, no, I can see the reflection too. I was just wondering where that pic is from

I can see it too... but on the other hand, i can "revert" my eyes and see just a formless image. It's a cool find, though, definitly.

Well maybe they wanted the model to be so realistic they put a reflection in it. :O I can sort of see something there....

It vaguely looks like some sand dunes or hills or something with a blue sky (desktop background?)...or the gman.

Wow, that's original. Good job, asshole. People really need to get over making fun of Gabe. He's the man.

I see it, but I think it's probably just a generic reflection rather than a photographer.

Now I don't know this fo sure, but did the design-team make pictures of objects so they would look even better in-game?

Because in that case it would be the only real person we can see in Half-Life² :naughty:

...sorry. My mates always said I should have myself checked :)
But I just like the speculating-thingy, better than the G-men conspiracies though.

I see it. But you shouldn't trust me, if i want to see something i see it.

..mmm icecream

Hmmmmm, donuts....arrrrhhhhhhhh

OK, that was my impression of Homer J. Simpson

Come on!

Well, what you think of that ?
I need answers, or even more questions that could bring us answers, or COMMENT...anything!!..,please.

yeh here we go man

the screen is a texture, made from a real picture of a monitor. Most probably, the man you see in the blue shirt holding a camera just near his navel is probs the texture artist who took the shot and if left as an original the reflection would be much easier to make out, but i think he blurred it a bit so it wouldnt stick out.

anyways, if i was making a monitor texture thats what i would have done, so maybe thats what this guy did too.

THAT is exactley what I'm thinking :)

Now I just want to figure out what the rest of you guys thinks of it.

dont bother man, if u want something fun to do go to the hammer 4 textures browser and have a look through that, your sure to find some stuff that will take your fancy!
