The Saga that is Half-life 2

This past year...it's been a real ride. I think that someone should write a book about the half-life 2 "saga". It would be neat to read about 5 years after just how close this game never came to being released. It would make a very good story.

I will prove you wrong (coming soon, got something cooking, and seems I suddenly have a deadline). There's plenty of plot in what happened. Add salt, pepper, and a twisted mind, and you've got one hell of a strange story. Action, suspence, romance ("Gabe I luv u !!1one!1"), hatred, violence, blood, humor, tragedy, it's all there.

To put it in perspective, the delays have not been as worse as Doom3 (yet ). Remember when the alpha was leaked? That was over 2 years ago and people were raving about the game then. I was flicking through an old games mag that had the game down for a november 02 release. Then it came out, was raved about for 2 weeks and now nobody mentions it :/
