Docm30 sends welcome to you again, from The Storm of Steel.
What is The Storm of Steel(TSS)?: Well TSS is a Total Conversion for Half-life 2, based on the events of the First World War (Not to be confused with WW2 - Completely different wars). The countries include but are not limited to Britain, Canada, Germany and Australia, with battles ranging from small squad sized to the biggest of the war (Including the Somme and Cambrai). And weapons like the famous but rare Maschinenpistole18 (The first SMG, even before the Annihilator) and the reliable SMLE (Which is still in-use today by Canadian arctic troops, for its wood base). TSS will be shoot for very realistic, featuring all the works (Ironsights, sprinting and such) and plenty of new features (Secret for now
).
What is it that you do, Docm30?: Evidently I am the leader of the mod, I also designed and run the website, do the majority of the models and textures, I also do some research if i have time, and sometimes dabble in other things.
What is it you want?: I am posting here today because we [TSS] are looking for help, and some new team members :O, these are the following:
-Mappers
-Texture Artists
-Coders
If you have another talent, feel free to apply anyway's - We could always use fresh hands. If you wish to join, PM me, Email stormrep at gmail.com (Here's a hint, replace at with @) or visit our Joining page and be sure to include a few details and some sample work you have done.
What has been done?: We have finished our first weapon modeling goal (British and German) a few skins, and our map Ypres is nearing completion, planning and documentation is about done, and so is our research.
