I started a Wood Elf Acrobat (Selected Acrobat from default classes), I joined the Theives Guild, and I've just started the 2nd quest you get directly from the Grey Fox himself, and I notice.. It is really easy.

Is it easy because it's early in the quests, or am I pretty far in the theives guid?

If I'm far, it might be easy because I always play stealth character/games.. (I love stealth games, Splinter Cell, Deus Ex, Theif..) I've only made 1 Mage, 1 Warrior, and about 30-40 stealth characters (Assassins, Theives, Monks, Ect.), with Warriors and Mages if it's too easy you can just slide up the difficulty and there you go, it's now hard.

So, is it easy because it's early in the quests or is it easy because I'm good at stealth? (Not to brag, I just play alot of stealth characters/games)

It's easy with stealth characters just by nature. Other class characters and playing the guild late-game makes it harder purely on mechanics. Me personally, it was the easiest guild of all of them (shorter too I think)

I played it late in the game with a pure fighter and it was quite easy.

Yeah, its easier for stealthy characters, but still relatively easy for most others. Pity its not a little more challenging or longer!

Yeah I found most of the Dark brotherhood harder. It's because you don't really fight in the thieves guild at all.

I spent more time killing vampires than stealing for the guild.

:( I dont find it easy. I currently have to get into the prison and at the point where you come across the 2 guards, i follow one of them to a pillar, but i cant get up into the candle passageway without him following me. I've managed after being spotted to run all the way to the prisoner, but i didnt manage to do anything.
Maybe i just suck or i've got it wrong somewhere, my sneak skill is 70, should it be higher?

Mine was at level 48, which is apprentice (2nd level), so you can do that quest with a sneak skill as low as 25.. so 70 is good.

**SPOILER**
It's because you have to get a prison feeder job from the castle chef, ask around and people around the castle will tell you he needs a prison slop-feeder, when your a feeder the guard lets you in to feed the prisoners unsupervised, that's how you get in...
**SPOILER**

Most DB quests were really easy, as long as you don't care about the bonus, and I did every arena game in under 45 minutes, but I find the Theives Guild quite difficult.

I'm up to the slop feeder mission with a Nord assassin, and the only difficult mission so far was the one where you steal the jewelry from the Countess.

I found the mission where you have to steal the jewelery from the countesses dressing table was pretty difficult, mainly because of an annoying guard ... but with invisibility potion I guess it would have been much easier. Live n learn.

With the DB I had to do the bonuses made it so much better.

It wasn't even hard to get the bonuses in DB, it was sooo easy... wow you people must suck at stealth! :p I got all the bonuses first try.

That DB quest I clocked just by sneaking alone, I didn't open up the cell either, just fired a load of arrows through the bars and into his face :D

= clocked + bonuses :P

^ same here! :D ^ Except I got him with 1 arrow! Biotch!

Im confused about this slop feeder business. I cant find any cook. currently im passed the guard i cuoldnt get passed and now im next to a guard, hiding in the shadows, he's directly in my way. grr. i might have taken a wrong turning :O

The chef is an Orc, Just ask the guards and people about every topic that you havn't asked about yet.. You can also set it as your active quest, then when someone tells you about him, you quest marker tell you where he is.
