IT'S DONE!!!!!!! Yes, this is the official word that DOOM 3 has been code released and has been approved for manufacturing!

So, the next question is release dates. Retailers in the States will be allowed to pick up games starting

Two top titles coming out in the same month by the most respected companies. IMO(In my opinion) this is going to be one hell of a year for gamers thanks to Id for its revolutionary graphics and the ability to scare the crap out of us and Valve for its support to the community and modability. I can't dream of what it will be like to face a cyber demon in Doom3 or what it will be like to take on the infamous Strider. I expect nothing but great things to come from the following month...

Having watched a load of STALKER vids, I have to say that I'm SO unimpressed. It really looks like another FarCry in the making. It's all pretty and have its niche but at the end of the day, Doom 3 and HL2 will wipe the floor with it.

Brothers in Arms DOES impress me. Excellent use of strategy and it looks like it will become the sophisticated mans CoD.

I'm actually happy that it's not coming out in August as I am going to be in field school in Germany all that month. Hopefully it is released right after I get paid for my first week right before it's released so I can go and buy it right away.
