This is annoying the hell out of me. Any help much appreciated. :)

Right this is the problem.

Whenever I play a movie/video of any kind in windows media player and then move the seak slider it resets my volume to pretty damn high. I then have to simply click on the volume slider inside the player then it goes back to normal.


But when I have my music on loud and then it sudenly goes really really loud.... it scares the crap outa me. So any help will be met by me with open arms!!! :thumbs:


Note: I think this started after I updated to player series 9... or when I got SP2. Maybe both.

i've only seen that happen with WMP when its embedded in a web page controling the volume, eg: some porn sites.
 
Heheh, I dont for anything except for videos. Music is Winamp.


Anyway, Ive actually found somthing after about 30 mins of searching. (Yeah... i suck at teh google)

I'm updateing some stuff....

EDIT: Well its sorted now. I just updated my sound card drivers. Sounds basic but meh... more difficult than it sounds I guess. (Close this edit that... gah)

Adjust all your sound levels to max in the control panel, then it won't be able to get any louder
