This is the kind we mentality we fight against

I have nothing to say to that but to state my disappointment that such casual attitudes to such ideology exists.

We all knew there were people who hated everything the west and "infidels" stand for, its just so amazing to see one dressed in western clothes, talking about killing and murder casually as if he's talking about a sports game.

It must be nice for the Pentagon to know that their UAVs are paying off.

It made sense that he mentioned the spy planes and airforce, because those guys really do make a big difference in hunting down insurgent cells. They just don't get away when they've been spotted.

I've always believed that the people who sell the weapons, order the terrorists, and make the bombs are considerably smarter than we give them credit for. Smart enough to avoid US scrutiny, smart enough to know the political implications of their actions and events abroad. Hell, I'm dead certain that terrorist leaders don't believe the slightest in the tenets of radical Islam. This video just proves it to me.

On another note: A female news reporter? Without the hood? Fearless lady, though I think it proves how nonreligious the terrorist higher ups really are.

Edit: Whoops, this guy's pretty low on the ladder after all. Not low enough to get himself martyred, but there's still a little fundamentalism there. Still, he's good enough to train people, so they're probably not going to let him get killed.

Smarter? Or maybe US leaders are just dumber. Case and point: Bush frees illegals and drug dealers, but conveniently forgets to free border patrol agents in jail for shooting a druggy in the ass.

you misread some people think Al Kaida is a myth.

If you listen to what the guy describes though it's quite clear that the organization seems to have come to the fore much more since the invasion of Iraq rather than before, as a reaction against what the Arab nations perceive to be the American imperialist threat (which is pretty damn real..let's be honest here) to the entire region. Prior to then the focus was more on liberating the Palestinians from the continued occupation by the Israelis, for arabs such as this man. Al Qaeda certainly existed before the invasion of Iraq, but not to the extent it was portrayed hysterically by the American Media & the US Government, however since the Invasion of Iraq, Al Quada has been galvanized considerably. I certainly don't condone terrorist actions, but I can see how these people are viewing things.

Well he's good at what he does... more than I can say for a lot of people.

You can see how they would want to "slaughter" an egyptian diplomat, but you don't condone they're actions.

Thats a clash of logic right there.

Do you even know what condone means? Did you even watch the full video? Like it or not men like this this aren't causing problems in Iraq because they 'hate America' or 'want to steal away our freedoms' or 'want to turn the world Muslim' as Fox news would have you believe. What they believe is that they are fighting an oppressor (the US government) whose presence in Iraq threatens the way of life of the middle east in the long term. Now as I said I don't support their actions or activities (I'm against all forms of violence), but I'm not so shallow as some to deny that they do have an actual position, and aren't simply the foaming at the mouth raging fanatics that Dubya and his cronies would have us all believe. Where are the WMDs George? Where the **** are they?

"We thought he had weapons of mass destruction, but it turns out he didn't..."

Weren't the suicide bombers (s11) from saudi arabia or eqypt? Isn't Bin Laden Saudi Arabian. Rhetorical question: IS bush and the people who support him complete ****ing idiots.

He also refers to Iraq as he?

American foreign policy gives me logic ache.

The US didn't make Al Qaeda up that would be silly. But the CIA have funded their activities in the past to help fight the Russians. The ties between the CIA and Al Qaeda are on an operative and monitory support level, if ever in a cuffudle just follow the monies.

There is even evidence that after 911 Bin Laden checked into a hospital in Dubai, and the CIA knew about it but didn't arrest him.

The reporter asked the terrorist man what his operations were in Iraq, he said "car bombings, killings, the regular stuff..." Yeah.. just killings and explosions, nothing too fancy now... crazy bastard.

"So I'm a terrorist, whats the problem?" lawl

Like it or not men like this this aren't causing problems in Iraq because they 1.'hate America' or 2.'want to steal away our freedoms' or 'want to turn the world Muslim'

1. 'hate America'
A: Um, last time I checked, many of them did and still do hate us for invading Iraq without just cause. However, there are other reasons on why they hate us -- our support for and recognition of Israel as a nation state and ally.

2. 'want to steal away our freedoms'
A: Democracy, is unfortunately, incompatible with Sharia Law. It's also incompatible with religious passages and tennets concerning modern Christianity or Judiasm. Democracy ensures racial, religious, and sexual equality -- in the practise of these, none of these are exclusively the same or equal.

It's also frequently been the statements of this generations Imam's to call America the great Satan; wether or not it's military and economical support to Israel is considered.

3. 'want to turn the world muslim'
A: Despite the fact that Moslems under the command of Abu-Bakr instigated the crusades, it was still Mohammed who influenced the military-industrial complex styled passages in the Quran, a book that would be written and based upon the theocrats experiences as a military figure. I cannot fathom a billion people being written and educated into a war against intellectuality, socialist or democratic government forms simply for reasons none other then they don't know any better.

Paranoia at its finest -- very few out of that billion, believe global conquest is in order.
