Through The Wormhole

Watched the black hole episode.

Didn't expect anything other than typical discovery channel trash, and that's what I got.

Oh come on... it's good "trash". *grabs popcorn*

I watched the one on blackholes last week. that was pretty awesome but it hurt my brain

I like how Vegeta is the first to bitch about it, both times.

How was it "trash"?

lol you're an idiot.

Apparently a documentary is good only if it's a science lecture with all the technical details. If it's a documentary that uses language anyone can understand plus CGI to ilustrate the ideas, it's "TRASH".

The episode felt like I was back in 9th grade science class. It really does not take a half hour to explain what black holes are.

All I watched of this was the first video in the OP, and I have concluded that I agree with Vegeta. Anything that suggests that the notion that the universe is a computer simulation is even nearly a reasonable argument worth talking about in the discussion about the universe's origin is without a doubt going to be straight up trash.

Also, the CG at 0:35 in the video is absolutely amateur, absolutely trash.

Both of you are retards. Because you know, those physicists (few of the best in the world) are just on the show for shits and giggles and their explanations and visual explanations about the topic at hand are amateur and from "grade 9".

Yep, pure trash.

Because that's totally what I said.

What I meant is that I did not learn a damn thing that I didn't learn from 9th grade. These shows are designed for stupid people looking for pretty pictures.

Just because there are physicists on the show doesn't mean they're talking about advanced shit.

Are you an idiot? What show is going to air the freaking actual advanced calculations and details? Really, your argument is pathetic. The whole point of the show is to give the general population an idea of what they're calculating and what they're trying to prove. You're acting like you'd even have a clue about the advanced stuff that goes on so why are you even using that as your argument? Because they're educating the population using computer graphics which aren't even trying to sugar-coat anything you think it's trash?

You failed. Hard.

What they took 30 minutes to explain could have been done in 10 or less. And what the **** do you think the point of a documentary is? To teach. If they teach it well, then you can understand the advanced stuff.

And would you cut it out with the childish name-calling? Third time in a row.

THEY ARE TEACHING. How do you not see that? The point of the documentary like I said, (still not sure how your brain can't wrap around this fact) is to EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC. Again, you act like you would even understand a shred of their calculations if they decided to show it so don't try and act all smart because we all know you wouldn't be able to understand any of the advanced stuff. sorry.

Name calling because you're trashing a perfectly good documentary who's only purpose is to educate the general population not to bombard them with advanced theories and calculations that nobody except physicists would understand. In no way shape or form was this documentary trying to use computer graphics to make it look "pretty". They're there to paint a picture and provide some sort of visual to the viewer to better understand what they're talking about. Whether or not the graphics are pretty or not has nothing to do with what they're trying to convey to the viewer.

So again, how is that trash?

You and Krynn come here with your absolute garbage posts that have little to no logic or general understanding of what this documentary is supposed to represent and expect me to not call you names that are well warranted given your stupid posts?

Erm, actually no name calling is ever warranted, if you thought the posts were stupid you should've let it go.
