I am trying to burn a CD, but when it gets to about 70% the CD cant be read anymore by NERO.

I tried copying the CD to my drive and the same thing happens at this one file. Everything else on the CD can be copied except this one thing that's really important (this file is needed to run the setup program on the CD). If the file is corrupt, is there any way to make it work again? Or is there any way that it can still be copied with a special program or something?

what are you burning from, an image? Sounds like a bad image, or a bad file.

It's not an image, it's just a regular game CD (an original).

It's very old though, so i'm guessing that when you run the setup on the CD it automaticlly reads the CD and tries to run this other file to install (the file is in a different folder on the same CD). And it's this file that's not getting read.

When i try to copy the file to the drive, explorer crashes.

Probably its (Rights Protected) and cannot be copied and corrupts itself by default?

In that case i should be able to install straight from the CD. But when i run the setup program nothing happens. The screen turns black like something is starting, and then it just goes back to the desktop like nothing happened.
