Tank? What tank? Are you saying "tank", but meaning "strider"?

Please think before your post. What is it that you are trying to say? It's like you posted a heap of half-finished thoughts, with no real point to any of them.

If I were to say "That's what the internets is for", how hard would you pwn me, Shasta? :D

Don't worry. You're Australian. I don't like to pick on the mentally challenged. ;) j/k

I died alot. I think there was only one time I didn't die. Damn was I happy though :)

Haha, good one.

Rereading it, I think he was talking about the APC. But with unlimited Rocket Ammo, that bit was a breeze.

Apc

yes it was the apc...i tried going behind the rockets but the APC kept hitting me...thats why...actually behind the trash compactor or whatever you call it...now im playing to end the game...

It's funny because the rockets from the APC all hit the gigantic oversized bin and explode mere meters from you, but if you duck the right way all the MASSIVE EXPLOSIONS don't do anything and the giganto-bin is immovable.

So all you really have to look out for is Soldiers.

Hide behind the larg trash bin. Move out a bit to the sides of the bin so that you can just see the edges of APC while it cannot detect you. I suggest that you should crawl towards right since that is a position which the APC is not likely to spot you. Dispatch it with RPG. There is a whole damn crate of rockets behind the bin so you won't bother having not enough ammo. That's all you need.

I died once during the APC battle...got hit with a splash damage from a couple rockets that hit the wall behind me...now getting those people through with thousands of combine entering the station in wave after wave is hard..ive gotten pretty damn close to dying because there just arent enough medic packs to help me...

I only died twice (on normal difficulty), and I'm ashamed to admit that one was from a hopper mine.
The soldiers and APC were shooting at me and I sprinted right into it, was already missing a bit of health as I wasn't expecting all the rockets when I started towards Barney's gang.

Didn't have much trouble after that, other than when a combine soldier came through a window and gave me a face-full of shotgun while I was shooting his buddy.

Played through Episode 1 in one sitting for the first time. And the only time I died was the puzzle section with the rooms full of trip mines and barrels and the elevator and stuff.

I found the last level lacking in enough action to be honest.

That APC is a bollocks. I found a spot where I could aim the laser at it while popping rockets over the bin in reach of the rocket stash, where it couldn't hit me. :cheese: Took ages.
