Urban Flight

I have got upto the urban flight section where there is mostly water an when you push the lever the electricity goes on and the door opens and when you push the lever again the electricity goes off and the door closes can anyone help me as to how i get passed this section i would love a reply back asap as i want to finish episode 1 its frustating

Get to the other side where the barrels are, and quickly swim into the water and up onto the ledge. You lose some health, but I do it every time.

Some may say use the barrels, but I get frustrated by them everytime.

Use the barrel to secure the lever-like piece of walk way. Now, turn on the power. Pull you your shot gun (many barnicles around), and hop over to the bit of pipe you see near the office-room thing. There are two or three poison headcrabs there -- be careful. Go over there and then through it and over to the door.

This is what I do.

After the ceiling collapses a bit, letting more barnacle tongues through, you can turn the power on and off to electrocute them, if you didn't kill them getting to the switch.

Personally, I think they should have arranged in such a way to force you to use the barrels as they were intended to be used. That makes it a much more interesting puzzle and less of a re-hash of the electrified water sequence in "Entaglement."
