I know there is another guy here that has made an awesome uzi, so i tryed to make one, but its still not done and plz remember that im getting fimiliar with the program so dont expect me to do anything hyper super rendering.

The handle is the main thing i was focusing on, the other stuff is going to be deleted and re-do them.

As you know, people tend to do the details in the Texturing instead of making it real 3D, but i wanted to do the details in real 3D intead of a flat surfice and throw a blank texture on it, so heres what i got (notice the colors are ofcorse not the ones im going to use when its finished)
(EDIT,thanks KayhoonJ for the lightning effect :) )

Wow not bad at all, going to use normal maps for the details ?

Ya mon'
Awesome detail on the grip!!

The render I did took like ten seconds!
No plugins or anything ..

Place a "Skylight" in the scene
Rendering > Advanced Lighting > Light Tracer : Make sure it's active

Render

Use the same colored material on all the pieces.

Peace.

thanks guys, and that Lightning thing is great, thanks for telling me that option :D

I just know the basics of texturing so i will have to take a deeper look into that when im finished with the model, does anyone have any good tutorial?

To bad i cant show this at school :( (school rules, no weapons, my friend got sent to the princbal for just modeling a Paintball gun)

Thx

Ravioli, if you can get that Uzi, animate it and put it in CSS (with that same colour skin). Give it a couple of really funny sounds, you will be a God amongst men!

haha yeah give it a zapping sound or a dyooo dyooo kind of noise. or just a recorded voice saying "bang"

lol, good idea.

Btw, here is a shaded verison for you who think its made out of candy ;)
