It's the runup to E3 and he's talking about releasing new things and info on HL2. Surely to christ they have made big steps with the game, E3 is going to be awesome!

If this is the blackout and they are preparing for the release, what is the earliest possible date we can see the game? How long will they need?

By the way I am new to pc games and what does it mean by 'gone gold'? Sorry if I sound very stupid.

I got so excitied.

Gone gold means that they finished the game, and have the first cd of it, from which millions of copies will be made, and downloaded through steam.
