VB is better. Only upside to ipb is that you can get it hosted for free. By free I mean with ads :\

im not really sure as long as it gets the job done i spose i dontmind but with these woards i really like the way u can minimize liek te posting rules and stuff with the lil square buttons

IPB! Ive been on several forums. phpBB is the worst, VB is cool, but I find the latest version of IPB is much better. And it can be changed easily to look even better than VB - the looks being the biggest advantage to VB.

vb is one of the best, but if your pocket isn't so deep... phpbb is alright if you need lots of random features... but if all you need is a lightweight, FAST, message board, PunBB is great.
