Just wondering if someone knows some kind of video walkthrough for half life 2 and episode one. want to see the whole game on the "high end" becouse I'm roling on low setings.

Jeez, even with my pc spec it's still better than youtube quality...Need something better:upstare:

Why don't you just put the graphics on high and try to play it. It'll suck but at least you'll know what it looks like.

Thanks Planetary - something like that:imu:
Mr. Brick - if I would even try that my "pc" would probably go kabooom...
I'm runung low on low if you understand what I mean. Seriausly need an upgrade...;(

Your pc won't crash because the graphics are too high or something haha :D it'll just run at like 1fps but you'll know what it looks like.

It won't run at all I guess...It's like trying to reach light speed with a bicycle:laugh:

Bad example. A bike can never reach light speed.

As my PC can't reach the "high end":P. I mean, you can't have HDR and DX9 thingies if youve got an integrated 64mb card...It just doesn't support them...

I once tried... First it just froze for a good couple of minutes and after some time the screen got whole dazed and shit (like when you plug the cable out of your TV)...There was something writen like "Video card failure" (just with other words, don't recall that exactly...)

True; it's always going at light speed. Because that's what it is. The light is travelling, so any speed it travels at is light speed.

W00t, logic!

Yes, but it's speed differs between different media. It may be going faster or slower relative to another light-wave. Is there a set standard for the speed of light or is 300 km/s just an average?\

A little off topic eh?

Light can't go slower through anything else, it has no mass.

all those ppl who made videos are forced to lower there settings to compensate for the recording.

Half the light turns around, but the rest keeps going at the same speed, yes? :naughty:

no the thing u see as light being refracted is because some of the light is travelling at a lower velocity. not because some is reflected and some isnt.

But then it would be possible to stop light by putting it through multiple sheets of glass, yes? :naughty:

Uhh, shouldn't this thread be about video walk-throughs?

I love thread derailments.

he already got his answer about the walkthrough and no its not possible to stop light.
