when I try to install adobe reader, it unpacks it but then when it tries to install it, it says:

"The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folder."

Both my drives have over 50gb free...and I'm the admin on the computer...it also doesn't let me choose which 'temp' folder it's writing to nor does it tell me...

Run the installer as Administrator

Right click -> Run as Administrator

Or it's like run with elevated permission or something like that.

If it's not in the right click menu, go into the properties and check "Run with Administrative privileges" in the compatibility tab.

run as admin didn't work, so I just set it's compatibility for windows XP and now it seems to be installing fine.
