Hey all,

Being that I haven't played DMC before, I don't know how voice chat works. I know in a team game like CS, you can speak only to your own team, and only to dead people if you're dead. How does voice chat work in DMC? Can you speak to anyone?

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

I believe to all in Free for All, and for team for Team matchs, unless set otherwise.
Btw, allspeak can be set in CS so everyone can hear you. Welcome to the fourms, have fun fragging.

thank you for the info. i really didn't no about allspeak; i'll have to go look around some more.

regards,

This is not DMC. This is HL2DM.

In HL2DM you can talk to everybody in DM (Free For All) and only to your team in TDM or to all if the server is set to let you.

It's probably best to just type though, since the sound quality is more often than not incomprehensible noise.

With the ingame thing I agree. But try using Ventrilo or TeamSpeak or even Skype as they all have superiour soundquality compared to the ingame system :)
