I am currently designing a website that will be called VotersInfo.org. Long story short, it will provide voting and registration information for all 50 US states. I've got the website and database design under control, but I will need some volunteers to help me out with the research if I want to get this done in any sort of timely fashion.
What a volunteer would need to do is this: Be in charge of the information provided for one or more states. This information will include:
-Registars of voters names and addresses (registars are the people in charge of registering people to vote. There is one per country/parish)
-Voting registration rules
-Absentee voting rules and procedures
-Local election dates and info
-Voting locations (how this will be done will be sorted out later)
I have links to the secretary of state websites for each state that provides all of this information. I will need for the volunteers to gather the information from the websites and enter it into a database.
Other duties will be maintaining information for the states you volunteer for. You will get a @votersinfo.org email address, which will serve as the point of contact for issues regarding that state.

Basic knowledge of HTML
Good spelling and grammar
