Weapon Textures

Is there any way of using the weapon textures from Episode 2 in the previous installments? It may just be wishful thinking, but it would seem possible theoretically.

Unless the weapon models didn't get changed, you should be able to. Unfortunately, HL2 doesn't support the entire HDR thing yet, I think, so the ultra-detailed and reflecting textures won't really look at their best.
