Web Design prices

I've just recently been contacted by someone who wants me to create a web site for them , great but I've not made a site for profit before, it's always been for a friend or for myself.

They used this site as an example of size and content:

Does anyone have any idea how much I would charge for a site like that one?

I used to charge $300 - $500. But that was in 2000. The prices are probably less now.

Ok thanks :cheers:, I had a feeling that the prices wouldn't be high anymore, but it's not a big job either. Still undecided :|
