Weird bug?

For some reason (just starting today) L4D seems to decide to use up 100% of total CPU, so it lags. My CPU (3.0GHz OC'd at 3.60 C2D) should handle it fine, and always has. I'm gonna try to fix it myself, but any suggestions would be grand.

Apparently, it's ALL games. This JUST started happening today. What the ****?

EDIT:
I fixed the bug by installing the last program installed and puttng my CPU to the stock voltage.
(I last installed Diablo2)

Yeah. At least I have a portable version that is the Hell On Earth edition. Anybody wanna play it? I can upload it to demonoid and seed it, if anybody wants to. I have a level 10 or 11 paladin on it.
(Hell on Earth is a mod that makes the game A LOT more difficult)
