What do you guys think is going to happen to him?
I mean, I'm going to think that since you can lock him into the rocket, Valve will make it so that he's basically the first headcrab in space...

Discuss.

Yeah but its a group of planetoids oir something, so it doesn't really count in my opinion.

My first thought was that it was a way to put Lamarr in the next setting for the next story arc (HL3 if you will) but that seems really contrived. So my current idea is that now that the rocket has done its job it will crash back to earth and we'll see her at some point in Ep3.

"You mean...you don't mean...you didn't shut the door and trap her in the rocket, did you?" - Marc Laidlaw

Yup press'em with use key and they will close.

I'm sure Llmar will show up in episode 3.. In the original halflife I think Lamar went through the portal with you and ended up in a desert somewhere.. And yet he was in Episode 2 :)

Lamarr has been transferred for a crow :P
Lamar stay on beach and crow is in lab
I think that Lamarr will find a way to kill advisors in EP3 :D

It's funny coz there is only few appereances in both Ep1 and 2. In case you didn't see her, Lamarr was on the screen Dr Kliener was talking on in Ep1

Dead. Frozen in space. My heart goes out to the fanfic writers out there.

Actually, if you read HL2.net's last interview with Mark Laidlaw, unless you closed the door to the rocket (which is not possible to do) there is no garuntee he stayed in there.

I'm sure Valve will bring this up in Ep3. ;)

Actually, you can close the door. And also Kleiner states that there is payload anomaly of a few pounds. That's probably Lamarr! And you know what happen last time they ignored such things?

They raped the planet?

I reckon that the nose cone of the rocket returns safely back to Earth after it is used to communicate with the other saterllite. Perhaps you run across it in Ep3, giving you the oppurtunity to open the hatch and release Lamarr into the wild.

will the garden gnome be there as well?

Y'know, Crazy Killer has a point. If it wasn't for Lammar efing up the teleporter in Red Letter Day, we could have skipped 2 whole chapters...

And if it wasn't for Judith and the EMP device at the citadel, we could have skipped 2 whole episodes! :frown:

Lamarr gave me Water Hazard. I love her.

If it weren't for Judith being a lesbian, we might've skipped a whole game :P

I hate Judith, if I see her in Ep.3 I will start the map in Gmod and kill her with brutal force or use my zombies.

I'm sure we are going to see her in ep3. I like that because she's a great character, and I want to see more from her.

If Valve don't give me "ff 1" in console, I shall tear Gabe Newell's antlion out through his stomach.

Closing the door on the rocket is optional, yet Kleiner makes a mention of a payload anomaly as he and Magnusson are going over pre-flight. The anomaly is possibly filler for the conversation, the presence of Lamarr, or a reference to the ability to load the Garden Gnome into the rocket...

When was the mention of the payload anomaly? I missed it.

Well, I guess they still have the door closed at some point. If Gordon didn't close it, maybe someone else?

Why would they shoot a rocket to air with hatch open. It seems like they were doing stuff carefully on launching that, since it was about to be humanity's last chance to survive.

You see some rebels working on the rocket when you go to the secondary silo.

Lamarr won't be dead, there will be a little easter egg or such in episode 3 saying 'First Headcrab to be launched into space', and I don't think Valve would kill of one of the sexy ladies in the game. :)

Well, i don't think Lamarr can mess up anything by this point, seeing how the rocket already fulfilled its purpose.
I can't belive they trust judith, i mean she was a traitor. She saved you, but still. She deserves death by headhumping.

The rebellion won't kill Mossman, unless she betrays them, but they will never kill her, they will let her live to know of Eli's death
